Description
Travel back in time with this vintage violin. Theinside label identifies it as a Stradivarius copy, 1734 model, made in Germany. It'd guess it's from about the 1920s or 1930s.
With a 13" body and 21-3/4" overall length, it's a 3/4-sized
violin.
It's a repair project. The sound post is loose. No nut. No strings. No endpin. No saddle. It does come with its bridge and tailpiece. The tailpiece has one fine tuner. Comes with a string mute.
The bow is missing its hair. One of the frog pearl inlays is missing. Two-piece flamed maple back. The spruce top has various scuffs and scrapes, but is in good condition.
The case is in good working condition. One of the case latches will not close. The case hinges work fine. The case handle works, but is missing its leather wrap.
Who wants to bring it back to musical life?
