    Description

We offer your consideration this vintage Violin and bow.
This Instrument is offered for Restoration
This looks to be a Violin produced around the 1950s in Germany.
It is a full sized instrument measuring approximately 23 inches long.
It came to us missing the bridge, but everything else looks to be there.
The wood of the body is in very good condition, there are no cracks or joint
separation to be found anywhere on the body. There is some finish wear on the
fingerboard at the lower end, and the color on the tuning pegs has faded.
These are all aesthetics that will not affect the playability of the instrument once the
    bridge is replaced.
The paper label inside reads Model Antonius Stradivarius Cremonenfis Anno 17
This violin comes with a bow, and a case. The case is in rough shape, one of the leather hinges is torn through. The bow may need to be rehaired ?
If you like doing restoration work on vintage instruments, it won't take too much to get this pretty violin back into shape to play. Help it sing again.
