VINTAGE MOSAIC PINBACK - NEW HAMPSHIRE OLD MAN ON THE MOUNTAIN, PCA PRESBYTERIAN

Description

This vintage pinback lapel pin was purchased at a local estate sale, where a family member indicated that it dates to no later than the 1940s; however, its actual age has not been determined.
This very attractive lapel pin represents the Presbyterian Church of America (PCA) in New Hampshire, and the great design shows the Old Man of the Mountain in several colors, appearing mosaic.  The initials
PCA
are to the left, and, along the edge, are the words
GOLDEN RULE
and
NEW HAMPSHIRE
.  Measuring approximately 3/4" in diameter, this lapel pin is composed of a gold-toned metal.  There is a hinged attachment pin with locking clasp on the reverse.  There is no mark for the manufacturer or the
metal
composition.
This item is in very good condition and has very good retention of color, with light wear, and it remains brighter and lighter in color than is evident in the photos.  The hinged attachment pin and locking clasp are strong and work very well.
