The fine item you are considering is a
Vintage Leopold Witthalm Witthulm Violin Dated 1872. This beautiful violin is in very nice condition, with no cracks or damage that I can see. The instrument measures approximately 23 ½” long overall, with the body measuring approximately 14 ¼” long. The label, as best as I can make out, reads “Leopold Witthalm (or Witthulm), Nuremburg, 1872, Francesco (??ggeri) DeTT II PER, in Cremona, 1682”. The violin comes with the bridge, tail piece and case as pictured, but no strings. Please see my photos to have a look at this nice item.
