Vintage Czech Antonius Stradivarius 4/4 Violin w/ Bow P/R

Description

Item up for bid is a wonderful 4/4 violin made as a copy of an Antonius Stradivarius model. This piece is identified on the interior label as being made in "Czecho Slovakia". Item is a parts / repair unit with the most notable area in need of repair being a roughly 3-1/4" long vertical crack in the wood on the front lower right side. Item has no chin rest, bridge, end pin or strings and shows some seam wear around the end pin hole. When moved you can hear some rolling in the interior which is likely a loose dowel rod. Body measures 14" long with the entire length of the instrument measuring 23-3/8" in length. Body measures 8-1/8" wide across the widest point. Bow has no maker's mark that we can see and needs to be rehaired. Body of the bow shows no cracks or breaks that we can see or feel.
