VINTAGE 4/4 VIOLIN, repair/restoration

Description

VINTAGE 4/4 VIOLIN, repair/restore, label reads G A Pfretzschner.  For some reason I've been unable to get more pictures from my camera this evening,  Violin has been previously repaired - nail put in back button, cleat on inside top near bottom (there don't appear to be any other cracks).  The rib join at bottom near endbutton wasn't glued properly, and the bottom block will need to be refitted and reglued.  Peg box and pegs are in good shape, wood and varnish although old is nice, ebony fingerboard, nice purfling. The inside top is roughly cut, and the bass bar isn't fitted, also there are no corner blocks,  The violin was obviously loved and played quite a bit in spite of it's inadequate present condition.
I am retiring from violin and bow restoration, and have many instruments and bows I hope to list soon.
