    Description

Travel back in time with this vintage violin. It's a Stradivarius copy. The label reads
    Copie de/Antonius Stradivarius Cremonensis/Faceitbat Anno 1721
    . There's a second label,
    MADE IN FRANCE
. It doesn't say, but I'm assuming, from its looks
and age, that it was made sometime in roughly the mid-20th century.
    With a 13-1/4" body and 21-5/8" overall length, it's a 3/4 size violin.
Though the spruce top is discolored, it's in good structural condition. The back is a nicely flamed two-piece maple.
No bridge. It only has two strings, which are old.
It comes in a chipboard case in good working condition. The sleeve on the inside case lid that holds the bow tip is missing. The bow only has less than half its hair.
So, it's a little project, just needs strings, a bridge, and bow hair. Who's up for it?
    Questions?
It will be well packed with plenty of new 1/2" bubble wrap and shipped in a new 32"x19"x7" stout cardboard instrument box.
