A BEAUTIFUL very well kept and maintained ANTIQUE STAINER violin with the neck projection right at 20 mm. The perfect height . This nicely violin was just fitted with high quality Rosewood Fittings , pegs, tailpiece, gut adjuster, chin rest ,and end button. All fitting have been replaced as well.
All Work was done by a master violin maker in our shop. Also installed was a new Carved French Aubert Bridge. The ebony fingerboard was dressed and cleaned with plenty of good years of playing, so that the new owner will be getting a very good instrument in an excellent state of preservation and playable condition. We also installed a new set of Daddario Zyex Professional Strings.
Top is constructed of two piece medium to close grain spruce . Back two piece maple well flamed with side ribs matching the back. Color brown shaded amber
Antique. Set up for easy playing, also 4 New German Wittner Fine Tuners are great sounding. Great for all styles of playing: jazz blues, bluegrass, country, rock, ect.
The violin comes with New Oblong Case, Carbon Bow, and Jade French Rosin.
Condition: Used an in very good condition. One crack on the lower right side near tailpiece, been repaired many years ago, very good repair and doesn’t effect the sound.
