It was laminated about thirty years ago in an acid-free page protector to prevent further deterioration. The date of publication was hand-written in the margin by one of the owners, Charles Bain.

    This newspaper advertisement was published 11/23/1951 in the Dixon [IL] Evening Telegraph.  Printed on newsprint, it has suffered the ravages of aging in a few different ways.  It was laminated about thirty years ago in an acid-free pouch to prevent further deterioration. The date of publication was hand-written in the margin by one of the owners,
