    HORN making
I've tested your 174F alloy and it works fine for bending. I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a non-toxic alternative to the 158F. It requires more leverage to bend, but other than that it works fine. It also doesn't expand the thin wall brass tube by 004 - .005" like the old Cerrobend (158F) does, so I'm quite happy with it, and I'm spreading the word to other horn makers.
