    Description

    Up for sale is what appears to be a rather uncommon/rare 20th century violin with its old original label reading "Graduated by U.A. Kurkjian (1737) Date 1938". Measuring a total of 23.25 inches in total length this violin comes in its original case and bow which is unmarked. The violin clearly shows wear from use and damage to its body. I am not able to find any other violins attached to the name Kurkjian other than the notable collection that resides in Beirut and an the obituary for
    Vahakn Nigogosian who was a violin
    builder. The violin is sold as is, I am not familiar enough with these instruments to give a real sound condition report so please view all images and ask questions prior to purchasing.
