    Description

    This is a rare vintage 1980’s New York State license plate embossed “POLICE”. It was used on the Chief of Police’s squad car in my town. The Police Department requested the plate be made that way, and used it until the state told them to remove and replace it with normal plates. I received the license plate for work done for the town. There are only a handful known to exist.
    This rare license plate would make a great addition to any collection!
