Masterly carved scroll and accurately inlaid purfling.

his beautiful
instrument
shows no open cracks or open seams, and only minor marks in it´s old amber varnish.
Checked on playability by our luthier and by our violin player like always.The table is finely grained spruce and the back, as well as ribs and neck, is nicely flamed maple. New ebony pegs & ebony tailpiece, a newly fitted bridge and new strings.
These are new German silver wound steel core strings with good projection, easy to play while allowing rapid playing performance. We use these strings on mostly all of our violins to allow a comparison of the tonality of each instrument in the videos. In any case a new owner should consider any other renowned brand of higher quality of own personal preference to enhance the full tonal character of this violin!

Measures aprox.: total 59,5 cm / 23.4", body 36 cm / 14.17", vibrating chord length 33,5 cm / 13.2", weight 484 gr / ~17.1 oz.
