WORKING DESCRIPTION:This game is working 100% and is in excellent physical condition. The monitor has a nice, bright, sharp and colorful picture. It is a Wells Gardner 2792 monitor. Both guns work well and can shoot all over the screen. The game has new bulb and starter lighting the marquee. The coin door has new LED bulbs lighting the coin slots, 2 working quarter mechs, a working , , and bill acceptor / stacker, new locks, and an original coin box. I even replaced the battery on the computer motherboard and replaced the electrolytic capacitors on the motherboard.
This game is ready to go and earn some money! It is a great earner.
I should mention just what a great game Target Terror is. This is not a "classic" in my opinion - it is still a modern, top dollar earning game. I would stack it up against just about any game currently on the market for earnings. I've operated them in several of my own arcades (this very cabinet in fact). And everywhere I put it, it is either the number 1 earner or at least in the top 5. It is similar in game-play style to the Area 51 series (which are also excellent earners), and the rumor I heard was that this game was designed / programmed by the same team. But unlike the A51 series, this has 9 different missions (they have 3 each), so there is a lot more depth to this game, which equates to repeat quarters and much longer legs.
Frankly, I should put this back in my arcade. It only got removed because I found a deluxe cabinet version of the same game and put that in. But those are rare as hens teeth, and I wouldn't recommend them because they weigh a ton and are murder to move around.
This is the cabinet and game you want.
CONDITION and RATINGS for THIS SPECIFIC MACHINE:
This game is in excellent condition. First of all, this is an original, dedicated Target Terror. Many were sold as kits, especially for the Atari Area 51 series cabinets. But this one, while similar in shape and design, is a factory dedicated Target Terror.
The cabinet artwork is in great shape, as is the marquee and monitor bezel. It looks good all around. In fact, it is even nice and clean and solid inside as well.
The coin door is like new and has working coin mechs and new locks. It also has a working Mars 1,2, and 5 dollar bill acceptor/stacker, which is worth several hundred by itself.
If you need any more pictures or have any questions, please let me know - I'm happy to answer.

COIN DOOR: 9.5/10
CABINET: 9/10
NOTE:
Unlike some other sellers on eBay, the game I am selling is the actual game pictured and described above. Somehow, other sellers seem to think a single stock photo from google and a generic description like "great condition, but may have some scratches and blemishes" is good enough. They have some beat up junker in the warehouse and don't even get it ready to sell until it sells.
Not here at VintageVideogames.Arcadia. We don't list the game until it is completely through the restoration/refurbishment and is ready to ship out. And we take pictures of the exact game that we are selling. We want you to know exactly what you are buying.
LOCATION:
This game is located in sunny, beautiful downtown McLean, IL 61754. That's right...in the heart of Classic Arcade World where Arcadia: America's Playable Arcade Museum, Pinball Paradise, and Hotel Arcadia are located! I suggest buying this game and then making its pickup a fun family road trip! We have over 140 playable games and luxurious arcade-themed lodging options. Contact me for more details or look for hotel Arcadia on airbnb.
SHIPPING:
Included in the price is FREE WHITE GLOVE SHIPPING from North American Van Lines. They will bring it right inside your house (ground floor only). This is for the 48 contiguous United States only. If you want this shipped internationally, it will cost extra and we will have to discuss it and get a shipping quote before you pull the trigger.
Regarding shipping time, North American Van Lines only picks up from my location once a week. So shipping will probably take between 7 and 14 days depending on where you are in the country. In some rare cases possibly longer.
For what it's worth, I have been collecting (hoarding) games for over 30 years and selling them on eBay since about 1997. I have probably shipped two thousand games (many but not all on eBay), from individual games to full containers. You won't find a more reputable seller...check my feedback. Unfortunately, I cannot provide a money-back guarantee on this just because a lot can happen in shipping. What I CAN guarantee is that if you pick the game up, or if not when the game leaves my hands, it will be exactly as described and photoed above. And in 30 years of selling, I have never left anyone in the lurch or ripped anyone off. I'm a fair, honest guy...ask anyone.
