G A Pfretzscher Antique violin viola with as found 34 bow In wooden case rare

I am not an expert in violins at all. I really don’t know much however I could spot something that looks quality or interesting… such as this instrument.
I don’t even know if this is a violin or a viola… If you would like to let me know I would like to know… That would be nice. And if you know anything about the Laker… I would love to know.
This particular violin is a Stradivarius copy. It measures approximately 23 1/2 inches to 24 inches long are… The widest is around 7 1/4 inches wide.
Amazingly it is not damaged as far as being cracked or visible brakes or even chips… I see nothing damaged but it still is as is as found.
Right now I am looking at the neck area very closely… It looks like it was never repaired or damaged. It looks great… The scroll work is dirty… Original dirt. If anything light expected where to the surface.
In the back of the neck looks like it has been played and is pretty dirty… It looks pretty to me.
The back of the instrument is not cracked or broken. It looks lovely. Original patina… I bet an expert can polish this instrument up and it will be beautiful. In my opinion that’s what it looks like it needs… To be cleaned up 100% and polished and waxed. I
I show you good pictures of the bow … The total length is around 28 1/8 inches long. If you are looking at the mother of pearl side of the bow… The very end of the wooden wind says Germany on the underneath side.
I photographed the end of the bow … I can’t tell if that is a makers mark or not so take a look at those pictures.
About 4 inches from the end … There is white tape… That normally means trouble… Expect trouble… But I really don’t know and I’m not going to take it apart. This is for parts and restoration only. Unsure if it is cracked… Most likely it is cracked.… As is… As found…
I think this beautiful violin just needs to be carefully cleaned up. It needs new strings… it looks like it could use some string holder things…

I have been collecting these from estate sales for 15 years or so… So I decided to list three of them without knowing really what I have which is… Crazy but… You decide.
look at all of the pictures because this instrument will arrive to you exactly as pictured and as is and as found… Sold by a non-expert in violins… For parts and restoration only…
I will do my best to describe what I see. I’m also trying to get every angle. But mainly I’m going after things you need to see… Anything chip or a broken or what I know That is a flaw… That’s what I’m hunting for in the pictures.
So bottom line is… Exactly as described… Please make sure you look at all of the photographs… Exactly as pictured… Will need restoration or for parts…
Like I said… Make sure you look at my other items because I’m listing stuff without looking anything up… What I think is totally cool… That’s what I’m listening. But I have more violins testing today so make sure you look at those.
