FOLK FIDDLE...great project for wanna-be ...make your own... old violin project. I've done many almost impossible violin restorations throughout the years ...this one isn't as complicated as some of those have been. The nasty varnish started to come off without great difficulty with denatured alcohol. I've always tried to have instruments available for all types/styles of music playing - classical, country, folk, rock and roll, jazz, old-timey, Latin, Irish, church, ..high class or inexpensive...  whatever my clients might want!      Hope you have fun with this junky-looking old violin!!!
