Copy of Josef Guarnerius Violin/Fiddle "fecit E. Reinhold Schmidt" Saxony

Description

There are three items in this lot.  The first is the violin bow.  It has the name Tourte and No. 10 on it.  It has been repaired at some point in its life.  I tried to show this in the photos.
The second item is the violin.  I do not know much about violins but this one seems to be quite small.  It has the fraction 1/2 on the bridge so I guess this may be the size.  The label inside the violin says it is a copy of Josef Guarnerius and has "fecit E. Reinhold Schmidt Saxony" on the rest of the label.  There is a small place where finish is missing on the neck.  There may have been a repair at the base of the violin.  There is a string hanging out from the inside (maybe where original price tag hung?)  The rest of the violin appears very nice.
The third item is the case.  It is wooden.  There is no padding on the inside.  The case appears very old.  Someone has applied eye hooks for closures.  There is a hole and chip out of it.  Please see photo.  Hinges and Handles appear original.  please contact me with any questions prior to bidding..
