Antique "Ole Bull" Violin, Full Size 4/4+ Bow + wood hard case (prob. Germany)

  • Condition: The "Ole Bull" Violin, and bow are in good condition, but do need some TLC. There are no markings inside the f hole. It has what might be a small crack on it's top (about 4"--I'm not sure). The bottom and sides, except for some scratches and wear, are OK. The Violin Bow, which has no ID on it that I can see, needs the Hairs, and is missing a bit of the Mother of Perl decoration. The all wooden case is in a bit rough condition, but it's easily fixed by the looks of it.

    Description

    I purchased this Antique "Ole Bull" Full Size Violin (4/4) a Violin Bow (not marked), and wooden Violin hard case, at an Estate Sale, and I know little about these things. The back measures 14 inches from tip to tip (not with the little bump that's part of the neck). I believe this is probably an old German Violin. By the looks of how this all-wooden hard case is made, and the damage and staining of the cloth cushion inside it, this Violin and Bow is probably very old. The Violin Bow is in good condition, but needs the Hairs and has a few pieces of the Mother of Pearl decorations missing.  Because I know little about these things, I'm selling all as is. Buyer pays shipping.
