    Description

This is a beautiful violin made in Firenze (florence) Italy circa 1900. It is a Stradivarius model. The Bausch family was from Germany and according to Henleys Emanuele Bausch relocated to Firenze, Italy in the last quarter of the 19th century. The wood is low altitude nicely figured maple and wide gran spruce such as what is found around Tuscany, Italy. It is one of a handful I personally play and it needs to be used by a professional musician to be fully appreciated. It sounds very good. It is
    an outstanding violin.
The current strings are older Dominants on the G, D, and A, and a Super Sensitive E. A new set of strings would add even more color to this already fabulous instrument.  it has a new a French Aubert bridge, new soundpost
. There are no open cracks.
Length of back is 14", upper bout 6-1/4", lower bout is 8-1/16", and overall is 23-1/8". The original Golden-Amber varnish is in good condition.
    These are very rare violins.
A nice case and good quality bow will be included.
Will be packed and shipped professionally for a safe arrival. I go out of my way to make buyers happy. Please feel free to ask any questions about this instrument.
