Antique German Violin labeled Christian Ficker in 1790

Description

This violin is extremely old. It has all the wear and tear of a violin this age. It is playable. To my ear is has a quiet like baroque voice. I purchased this one to play buy I will not be playing it enough to keep it. It is a lovely piece in my opinion. I am selling it 'as is' given its age.  I sell it 'as is' but recommend you have a luthier take a good look at it to be sure. I purchased it for about this price. I just will not keep it. It was selling out of Belgium for 00 for quite a long time... then a few years later it showed up from its last owner for sale... I made offer.  There is a very fine slight fissure in scroll/neck. Hardly visible. That said, as it is it can be played. I'm selling it 'as is.' It plays and is also a nice piece of history (opinion).
There was (and perhaps still is) some YouTube recordings of it. But you'd have to search for these.
