-One piece maple back
-One piece spruce top has wide grain on bass side narrowing to the treble side
The varnish is golden brown color
Dimensions:
Upper bout: 16.9cm
Middle bout: 11.8cm
Lower bout: 20.2cm
Back length: 36.2cm
Slight oversized which was how they were built back then .
From around the early 1900’s
The violin has a bright, projecting sound.
Tuning pegs have been replaced with mechanical pegs because the old ones wouldn’t hold any more.
Strings: Pilastro Eva Pirazzi Gold strings on G, D, A
E string is Pilastro Wondertone Gold steel
Comes with a very basic, not so pretty case
