For sale is a ready to play antique 4/4 violin. Violin bears two internal labels. "Salvadore de Durro, B&J New York, Sole Importers" and "Special Model of Nikolaus Amati, Cremonensis Faciebat 1901". This 121 year old violin has been professionally modernized with a fine tuner tailpiece, and comes with a shoulder rest, a mute, and a backpack case. Also included are two bows - a practice bow and a performance bow. Usable bow string life is about 25% and 50% respectively. This is a beginner/intermediate violin with a balanced sound ready for another 100 years of music.
