  • Condition: Ready to play, no open cracks, fresh set-up with a new set of Pinnacle rope core steel strings, new ebony pegs well fit with no slipping or sticking, string height adjusted for ease of play, and a new old stock bridge properly fitted. This violin needs no repairs or adjustments, and sounds fabulous.

    Description

    Offered for your consideration is this finely crafted 4/4 violin. The back measures 14 1/6" long by 8 1/4" wide. There is no label, but it is likely a German violin from around the early 1900's.
    It would be well suited for the advancing dedicated student moving up to a 4/4 size, or anyone that wants a great sound and isn't particular about appearances.
    There is a wing crack on the right side, and a crack from the top right eye down to the bottom of the face. Both are very well repaired, barely visible, with cleats inside. This has no impact on the sound quality.
    I'm offering this violin at a low starting bid for the budget minded players who are looking for something that sounds amazing, rather than one that costs a lot of money.
    It will be shipped in an old case suitable for shipping, but no bow is included. The violin will be shipped fully insured for the purchase price. Please study the pictures carefully, as they are an important part of the description. Ask any questions you may have before placing a bid.
