    Antique 1870 19th Century French Trade Mirecourt Violin With Label.
    Antique violin most likely Mirecourt French trade work. Label inside is dated 1870. The body of this violin measure 13” (330.2 mm) and the overall length is 23” (584.2 mm). Label inside is somewhat difficult to read but states “Preparé par Lecleroq Luthiere a liege 1870” The violin is in a wooden case and contains the bow as shown in pictures. Bow measures 27” in length. The violin shows some use and will need some work prior to use. However, it has not been abused and is not cracked or broken.
    This violin has been in our family for the last 60 years and will be well packaged and insured for shipping.
