This is an old French violin by Jerome Thibouville - Lamy labelled Breton Brevete for sale!
Length of the back 357 mm.
The red-orange varnish covers selected tonewood that feature beautiful grain: fine grained spruce was chosen for the top and light flamed maple for the two-piece back.
The violin has a repaired old crack on the top (please look the photo).
