Here’s a very rare violin labeled Josef Hoyer made by one of Germany’s greatest makers from around 1860. It was made in Schönbach / Bohemia and it bears the original label. It is one of the most beautiful sounding violins I’ve ever owned. This beautiful violin shows no open cracks or open seams. The violin has been well taken care of and is ready for performance.
My family owned it for the last 40 years. The beauty of the maple is equaled only by its power and richness.
