This is a nice old French violin by Jerome Thibouville - Lamy for sale!
Length of the back 359 mm.
A very well crafted professional instrument features accurate craftsmanship.
The red-orange varnish covers well selected tonewood that feature exceptionally beautiful grain: fine grained spruce was chosen for the top and well flamed maple for the two-piece back.
Some traces of use and well repaired old crack under the tailpiece (please look the photo).
The violin has a large and powerful voice
with warmth and a rich volume
