The violin is the work of an experienced maker.
Inside there are two original labels
Joh. Bapt. Schweitzer  fecit at forman,
Hieronym Amati Pestini and Schweizer Musikhaus, Gütersloh.
The back side is made of one piece bettr quality flamed old maple.
The ribs and head are of the same selected wood,
and the top is made of quality medium grained spruce
.

The antique instrument is, however,
offered in a fully restored condition and has been fully and professionally setup by the our workshops
.
Any repairs have either been conducted by ourselves or fully inspected and the quality of the repair verified by our workshop.
No further repairs are required and is ready to play.
