  • Game Title: Cabal
  • Country/Region of Manufacture: United States
  • Condition: This game is working perfectly. The monitor has been rebuilt and has a great picture. The game is running on all original hardware. I rebuilt the monitor myself. Cosmetically, it is in very good condition. Cabal was a "kit" game, meaning that they never made a Cabal cabinet. Operators bought the kit and installed it in another cabinet. This particular Cabal kit is installed in a Nintendo Vs. Cabinet, which is actually a good and valuable cabinet on its own. The marquee and bezel are in excellent condition. The cabinet is solid and in decent shape. The sideart is not perfect, but very very good. The coin doors are excellent and have new locks, coin mechs, and the original coin box. Someone also installed a button for free play in case you want it to be free play. If you don't, just unplug a wire to this button and it's already ready to go with coin mechs. This is a tough game to find in any cabinet, let alone a Nintendo cabinet. Very tough.

    WORKING DESCRIPTION:
This game is working perfectly.  The monitor has been rebuilt and has a great picture.  The game is running on all original hardware. I rebuilt the monitor myself.
This is a game that uses track balls, and they are working perfectly and feel great!  In fact, this would be a great game to buy if you're into trackball games.  There was a joystick version of this game, but the trackball version is much more sought after and much more fun to play.
Marquee has new LED lights, coin door lights are new, and it has new locks. Game has coin mechs and original coin box.  Also has original back door.
Here is a video showing it working:

CONDITION and RATINGS for THIS SPECIFIC MACHINE:
This is a nicely installed Cabal kit.  As I said above, this was a "kit" game.  That means that they never made a Cabal cabinet, they just made a kit that needed to be installed in another cabinet.  So this cabinet was originally a dedicated Nintendo Vs. cabinet, probably had Super Mario Bros in it originally.  So this is a very nice, valuable cabinet.  It's a really tough game to find these days in any cabinet.  I searched for years to find this one.
This one isn't perfect, but it is very nice.  The marquee is basically perfect, and the monitor bezel is in great condition.  The control panel looks decent and has a plexiglass protector. (and the controls are perfectly working).  The coin doors are just about like new and it has working coin mechs, an original coin box, and new locks.  The cabinet is in good, solid condition but has some flaws.  There are some minor flaws in the artwork.
If you need any more pictures or have any questions, please let me know - I'm happy to answer.

    LOCATION:
This game is located in sunny, beautiful downtown McLean, IL 61754.  That's right...in the heart of Classic Arcade World where Arcadia: America's Playable Arcade Museum, Pinball Paradise, and Hotel Arcadia are located!  I suggest buying this game and then making its pickup a fun family road trip!  We have over 140 playable games and luxurious arcade-themed lodging options.  Contact me for more details or look for hotel Arcadia on airbnb.
    SHIPPING:
Included in the price is FREE WHITE GLOVE SHIPPING from North American Van Lines.  They will bring it right inside your house (ground floor only).  This is for the 48 contiguous United States only.  If you want this shipped internationally, it will cost extra and we will have to discuss it and get a shipping quote before you pull the trigger.
Regarding shipping time, North American Van Lines only picks up from my location once a week.  So shipping will probably take between 7 and 14 days depending on where you are in the country.  In some rare cases possibly longer.
For what it's worth, I have been collecting (hoarding) games for over 30 years and selling them on eBay since about 1997. I have probably shipped two thousand games (many but not all on eBay), from individual games to full containers.  You won't find a more reputable seller...check my feedback.  Unfortunately, I cannot provide a money-back guarantee on this just because a lot can happen in shipping.  What I CAN guarantee is that if you pick the game up, or if not when the game leaves my hands, it will be exactly as described and photoed above.  And in 30 years of selling, I have never left anyone in the lurch or ripped anyone off.  I'm a fair, honest guy...ask anyone.
