WORKING DESCRIPTION:This game is working perfectly. The monitor has an excellent picture. The game is running on all original hardware. The boards were sent to my vector expert and he not only repaired them, he did some things to attempt to bulletproof them, or at least make future service simpler. Like installing sockets under the most common chips that fail.
I installed a new light bulb and starter, new lock, new T-molding. The game is currently working perfectly. That means all sounds and controls too. It has working coin mechs and the original coin box / cash pan.
Just look at those pictures. The coin counter (which is fully working) has 000237 clicks on it. And I put 20 of those on it myself testing it in my shop last week. Now some people I mentioned that to said, "yeah, it probably broke down after 200 plays". Ha Ha Ha. Well, there may be some truth to that - these were not always considered the most reliable games in the arcade. I'll comment on that in a minute. But for now let me say that this game is absolutely remarkably nice FOR A CINEMATRONICS game. I mean in addition to them being somewhat unreliable, they were really not built very well. They used this pressboard made basically of glued saw-dust, so they fell apart easily. The corners busted easily, the backs came off, the front edges just broke off a lot. But this one is 100% original and in amazing condition. That is worth pointing out. Frankly, it's amazing I kept it in this good condition. I am not always easy on games...sometimes I accidentally bang them into other games or walls when moving them, no matter how careful I try to be. And that kind of behavior can really destroy a cinematronics cabinet. But I think what saved this game is that I bought it back in about 1989, and then it was moved only once in the last 31 years so I didn't have a chance to destroy it. Please buy this before I do so.
Now regarding the reliability....here are my comments. Until recently, the reason i never moved, used, or sold these Cinematronics games is because I personally had really bad luck working on them and getting them to be reliable. So what changed? Well, I met a guy who is an expert at working on them. And he has won me over to them. He has convinced me that there actually isn't anything inherently wrong with the engineering of these games, and if they are treated properly and repaired properly, they can be very reliable. It took a lot of convincing, but now he's repaired a lot of my cinematronics games and I've seen them working for a long time with no issues, so I decided that I can finally feel safe selling them on eBay, where I take my reputation very very very seriously. So here is my first Cinematronics game listing. Help make history with me - buy this game!
The controls work perfectly, and it plays very well. It's SUCH a fun game. This is one of just a handful of games that I truly played A LOT when they were originally in the arcade. This is one of a very small and elite group of games that are TWO PLAYER COOPERATIVE. There are just a handful, and they are all so fun. You see, I'm not a super competitive guy, but I like doing things with other people, so I love two player cooperative games. This way you're having fun working together to defeat the enemy, rather than trying to beat each other.
This is another difficult game to find these days. Especially in an original cabinet with nice original artwork all around. I know, most games are hard to find these days. But some are definitely more difficult than others. Well, to give you an idea, this is one of only three dedicated Armor Attack games I have been able to find in 30 years of full-time collecting, buying, and selling games. As opposed to more common games that I have literally personally owned hundreds of (and passed on hundreds more).
This is the only one I'm selling. I have to keep the one for my world-class arcade coming to NV and I already sold the other to a customer on the east coast.
CONDITION and RATINGS for THIS SPECIFIC MACHINE:
Cosmetically, this is in outstanding condition for a Cinematronics game. New T-molding has been installed and the cabinet has been touched up and glued to try to hold together the parts that typically just fall apart from age. It is currently very well preserved and in amazing condition. It has the original back door with dip switch setting sheet, original manual, and the inside of the cabinet looks like new. The coin counter has only 237 plays on it!!! and it is working - I added about 20 to the number just playing it in the shop last week.
The marquee is near perfect, the bezel is also. The control panel is also. The coin door is like new. The cabinet looks amazing, but has had one corner repaired (But very well). New T-molding installed. New light bulb and starter, new lock.
I don't know what else to say that hasn't already been said. Let me know if you have any questions.
Numeric Ratings:

LOCATION:
This game is located in sunny, beautiful downtown McLean, IL 61754. That's right...in the heart of Classic Arcade World where Arcadia: America's Playable Arcade Museum, Pinball Paradise, and Hotel Arcadia are located! I suggest buying this game and then making its pickup a fun family road trip! We have over 140 playable games and luxurious arcade-themed lodging options. Contact me for more details or look for hotel Arcadia on airbnb.
SHIPPING:
Included in the price is FREE WHITE GLOVE SHIPPING from North American Van Lines. They will bring it right inside your house (ground floor only). This is for the 48 contiguous United States only. If you want this shipped internationally, it will cost extra and we will have to discuss it and get a shipping quote before you pull the trigger.
Regarding shipping time, North American Van Lines only picks up from my location once a week. So shipping will probably take between 7 and 14 days depending on where you are in the country. In some rare cases possibly longer.
For what it's worth, I have been collecting (hoarding) games for over 30 years and selling them on eBay since about 1997. I have probably shipped two thousand games (many but not all on eBay), from individual games to full containers. You won't find a more reputable seller...check my feedback. Unfortunately, I cannot provide a money-back guarantee on this just because a lot can happen in shipping. What I CAN guarantee is that if you pick the game up, or if not when the game leaves my hands, it will be exactly as described and photoed above. And in 30 years of selling, I have never left anyone in the lurch or ripped anyone off. I'm a fair, honest guy...ask anyone.
