very nice unrestored 100% original New York license plate. 1950 issue; number B-9956. uncommon five-character variant. 13 x 6 inches; yellow legend on black background. the plate lies completely straight and flat with excellent original paint as seen in the photos.
some of the edges are missing, but that just enhances the rustic, rat rod look! a bit of touchup exists but is practically indistinguishable from the patina.
fresh out of the barn! New York only issued one plate in 1950, so there is no pair available or necessary.
